1.1
All Eye Photographic Workshops (EYE) are run with the understanding that all parties attending do so at their own risk. Whilst every care is taken to ensure reasonable safety and security the nature of photography and the blocking of one’s vision by looking through a camera can lead to accidents, if due care and attention is not observed.
Eye and its assistants cannot be held responsible for injuries that may be incurred in this way. From time to time and dependent on location and circumstances, photography undertaken in busy thoroughfares or where there is moving traffic of any nature, mechanical or animal, can also present a potential danger.

1.2
Locations booked as accommodation by EYE are carefully vetted to ensure they have licences to operate as rental accommodation and for the provision of meals but EYE cannot be held responsible for complaints arising from possible food poisoning or allergies. EYE cannot be held responsible for food poisoning as a result of eating out in a pub/café or restaurant arranged by EYE while on location. All participants are asked at the time of reservation if they suffer from acute allergies from certain foodstuffs or animals or their fur or hair and it is up to the participating party to inform EYE well in advance if this is the case.

1.3
Some activities in overseas locations are by there nature inherently dangerous – car and walking safaris- horse riding- motorcycling - rafting – sailing and flying - and therefore participants are not covered by EYE and its assistants’ liability insurance for injuries or death suffered as a result of exposure to these activities, however caused.

1.4
Payment: A 50% deposit is payable on booking and to secure that participant’s place and is non returnable although it can be carried over to another date of the same workshop value twice, before it becomes non refundable. The remaining 50% is payable on the day by cheque or before hand by bank transfer, depending on the location workshop, to the EYE bank details supplied. EYE will refund any participant a deposit paid in the event of EYE canceling or circumstances governing the reservation of accommodation which for one reason or another is beyond EYE’s control. No deposit refunds will be paid in the event of a participant not attending on the day.

1.5
Insurance for EYE’s equipment covers loss or damage while on location. This cover does not extend to any participant’s personal cameras or associated equipment and they should ensure that equipment is covered by a suitable policy for the nature of photography undertaken.
