April is Autumn in the Southern Hemisphere but temperatures are still in the high 20’s (80f) The lodge compound is in the predator zone of this stunning park and protected by an electric ring fence. It has its own swimming pool, game waterhole for viewing wildlife, mere feet from its terraces, and is sited within the trees and natural landscape of its surroundings. Two rangers are on hand for the drives, walks and our safety and four other staff look after our needs on bush breakfasts, sundowners, laundry and bush dinners. |
On the game drives you will see lion, rhino, elephant, hyena, jackals, giraffe, wild dogs, kudu, wildebeest, buffalo, hippo, warthogs and a stunning selection of beautiful birds, insects and plants. Our tuition and game rangers will get you to grips with how to photograph the landscape and view game at its most intimate and help you understand the behavioural patterns of the animals to get the best shots possible, with guest speakers and photographers joining us on the odd evening.
